You can now apply for the upcoming cohorts of the renowned programmes European Film Business and Law LL.M. | MBA as well as Digital Media Law and Management LL.M. | MBA. The application deadline is 31 July 2026.

These Executive programmes have been specifically designed for ambitious professionals and graduates who want to build a career in the dynamic media and film world. They combine practical content with excellent networking opportunities and are developed in cooperation between the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, the University of Potsdam and the Erich Pommer Institute. Depending on individual career goals, participants can graduate with an MBA, an LL.M. or even a double degree.


Digital Media Law and Management LL.M. | MBA: Expertise for the digital media world – now in the anniversary year

In 2026, the Digital Media Law and Management LL.M. | MBA programme will celebrate a special anniversary: its 10th edition! For a decade, this programme has combined media law expertise with strategic management know-how. It is aimed at professionals who wish to systematically expand their skills in media law, digital content production, and media management. Graduates acquire practical skills to successfully operate in the fast-paced digital media industry. Classes are conducted in German and are primarily in-person in Babelsberg and Potsdam.


European Film Business and Law LL.M. | MBA: Where the film industry meets media law

In its now 5th edition, the European Film Business and Law LL.M. | MBA programme imparts in-depth knowledge of the legal and economic structures of the European film landscape. The executive study programme is specifically aimed at lawyers and business professionals and offers specialisations in film business, contract design, and financing models. Students analyse current trends and challenges in the European film market and develop key competencies for leadership positions in the industry. The language of instruction is English; the format is predominantly online with compact in-person phases.
