About the workshop:

In the age of limited resources and an abundance of content, co-productions are becoming increasingly crucial for the success of European films and series. But making them happen has never been easy—and today, the challenges are only growing. Funding structures are shifting, audience habits are changing, and distribution models keep evolving.

So, what’s next for co-productions? How have recent industry shake-ups changed the game? What lessons can we take from the past year, and how can co-producers use them to move forward? Most importantly, how can companies across the value chain build lasting resilience in an industry that’s always in flux?

EUROPEAN CO-PRODUCTION tackles these complex issues head-on. The workshop offers exclusive insights into the making of several recent European co-productions as well as a comprehensive overview of the legal and financial elements of co-productions.  Expect insider insights, practical tips, and interactive sessions that will enable you to navigate the evolving landscape of European co-productions with confidence.

Designed for professionals across the entire value chain—whether in financing, production, sales, or distribution of feature films or drama series—this workshop provides valuable expertise from renowned European producers and leading industry experts.

Plus, with plenty of networking opportunities and collaborative group activities, you’ll connect with fellow professionals from across Europe, creating space for new business partnerships and opportunities.
